At North Bridge Microschool located in Longmont, we believe that learning and homeschool enrichment should be sensitive, supportive, and regulating for the central nervous system of teachers, children, and families. We acknowledge that the long-term effects of stress on the central nervous system are detrimental to health and can lead to complex trauma. We are aware that the current public education system is in an unsustainable state of stress for both teachers and students as the demands continue to reach terrifying highs.
At North Bridge Microschool, we know that learning should be available in a space where compassionate community, creative curiosity, and confident connections are free to bloom. We acknowledge that learning should take place in a small group environment where individual needs, interests, and strengths can be adequately met, nurtured, explored, and celebrated! We understand that our current public education system continues to utilize outdated systems that do not support these important aspects of learning for teachers and for children.
We are thankful to be serving as a Microschool in Northern Colorado as we support children through the use of our small group learning pod structure for academic and social emotional instruction.
